HXGN Series – Indoor AC Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Switchgear. The complete model designation specifies the product version and rated voltage. Electrical ratings, switching devices and protection arrangements are subject to the selected model and approved technical specifications.

HXGN Ring Main Unit (RMU)

HXGN ring main switchgear is designed for cable distribution networks, providing connection and switching points for incoming feeders, outgoing feeders and transformer circuits. Depending on the selected model, the switchgear can incorporate load-break switches, switch-fuse combinations or circuit breakers to meet different switching and protection requirements. Panel arrangements are selected according to the project’s single-line diagram. The metal-enclosed construction accommodates the switching devices, busbars and cable connections within a coordinated assembly. Operating mechanisms, earthing arrangements and interlocks depend on the specified design. HXGN ring main units are used in industrial plants, commercial premises, residential distribution systems and secondary substations. Final equipment selection should match the network ratings, protection requirements, installation conditions and local utility specifications.
